Funeral for Virginia Sue Morris McClellan, 70, of Danville was Monday, April 27, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Keith Andrews officiating.
Burial was in Herring Cemetery.
Mrs. McClellan died Saturday, April 25, 2009, at her residence. She was born June 14, 1938, in Morgan County to James W. Morris and Pernie Summerford Morris. She retired as a housemother from the Lurleen B. Wallace Center and was a member of Cedar Plains Christian Church. She was a devoted mother, daughter, wife and grandmother. Her father preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, James O. McClellan of Massey; a son, Frank McClellan and wife Cherie of Massey; a daughter, Pattie Ozbolt and husband Barry of Falkville; her mother, Pernie S. Morris of Massey; and five grandchildren, Marin McClellan, Morgan McClellan, Brandon Ozbolt, Brooke Ozbolt and Lucas Johnson.
Pallbearers were Steve McClellan, Mike McClellan, Chad McClellan, Daniel McClellan, Jeff Ryan and Denny Morris.
