Funeral for Henry W. Dotson, 93, of Falkville will be Thursday (today), Apr. 30, at 2 p.m. at Andrew’s Chapel Baptist Church with Bro. Milt Kinsinger and Bro. Charles Williams officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Dotson died Tuesday, Apr. 28, 2009, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born April 28, 1916, in Lawrence County to George Washington Dotson and Mary Harriet Hooper Dotson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Turrentine Dotson; and two sons, Alton Dotson and Rabon Dotson.
He is survived by two sons, Albert Allen Dotson and wife Sarah and Virgil Dotson and wife Gail, both of Decatur; two daughters, Mary Ruth Terry and husband Teames of Decatur and Janice Posey and husband Quinton of Cullman; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Roger Terry, Dennis Terry, Allen Dotson, Scott Dotson, Kenneth Dotson, Kieth Dotson, Mark Dotson and Brandon Dotson.
The family requests that memorials be made to Wiregrass Hospice, 1213 Cullman Shopping Center, Cullman, AL 35055.
