Funeral for Ronnie L. Richards, 60, of Falkville was Saturday, April 11, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Terry Nappier and Charlie Brown officiating.
Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Richards died Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at his residence. He was born April 14, 1948, in Hartselle to Jessie Albert Richards and Christine Eaton Richards. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Falkville. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Daniel Sean Richards.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy King Richards of Falkville; two sons, Lee Richards of Decatur and Andy Martin and wife Christy of Hartselle; two daughters, Jamie Cutcher of Somerville and Kim Allen and husband Danny of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Jesse Richards of Falkville; and 12 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Dr. Sidney Sawyer, Tom Bennich, David Patterson, Glen Sparkman, William Thrasher, Jimmy Walker, Lewis Coots, Billy Hardin, Mike Dean and Charles Goodwin.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Gideons, the Falkville Lions Club, MCHS Class of 1966 and Coach J.P. Cain.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alacare Home Health and Hospice, the Gideons or the Falkville Lions Club.
