Buckley lives on Barclift Street. She is the former state director for K-12 curriculum for the Alabama Board of Education and was an applicant for the superintendent position. She is a former classroom teacher and school administrator.
Dr. Joy has two children attending Hartselle schools and lives on Danielle Drive. He said he would like to serve again on the board would do so in an “unbiased manner to promote and help our school system and children.”
