Funeral for Joey Brannon, 20, of Danville was Saturday, Aug. 16, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Pitts officiating.
Burial was in Center Cemetery.
Mr. Brannon died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008. He was born Sept. 8, 1987, in Morgan County to Donnie Brannon of Tennessee and Barbara Sue Burnett Lee of Danville. He loved to camp, play drums and guitar. He was a hard worker and loved his family. He always had a smile on his face and was a good son. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Orlan Burnett and Carson Brannon and an aunt, Laura Burnett.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Sue Burnett Lee of Danville; his father, Donnie Brannon of Tennessee; two brothers, Tyler Brannon and wife Emily of Ft. Bragg, N.C. and Thomas Brannon and wife Tracy of Danville, two grandmothers, Sue Brannon of Union Grove and Ruby Ann Burnett of Danville; five uncles, James Burnett and wife Lisa of Danville and Ricky Brannon and wife Aimee of Union Grove, Gary Brannon and Greg Brannon and wife Lisa, all of Hartselle and Tony Brannon of Tennessee; three aunts, Martha Palmer of Decatur, Patricia Brannon Beaty of Trinity and Cathy Brannon of Tennessee; a niece; and a great many cousins.
Pallbearers were uncles and cousins.
