Funeral for Rader Hale, 88, of Hartselle was Friday, Aug. 8, at 1 p.m. at Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church with Bros. Roger Ammons and Robert Morgan officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Hale died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, at her residence. She was born Jan. 15, 1920, in Morgan County to Odis Kermon Hall and Altha Pearl Hubbard Hall. She was a member of Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church for 70 years.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winford Hale, a son, Claud Hale and a brother Carl Hall.
She is survived by a daughter, Fay Hale Gullion and husband Jerry of Hartselle; a brother, Elra Odis Hall of Mansfield, Ohio; four grandchildren, Gary Hale and Lisa Hogan, both of Hartselle, Tanya Williams of Decatur and Jackie Bullock of Lakeview, S.C.; eight great-grandchildren, Tyler Hale, Amy Hogan, Erin Taylor, Danielle Conrad, Kyle Bullock, Katie Bullock, Dakota Williams and Hunter Williams; and a great-great-grandson, Trey Taylor.
Pallbearers were Harold McCormick, Brian Lawrimore, Gary Hale, Shawn Bullock, Larry Gullion and Chris Gibson.
