Funeral for Leonard Tucker, 77, of Hartselle was Tuesday, July 22, at 2 p.m. at Son Rise Baptist Church with the Revs. Brian Bridges, Jack Nelson and Joe Nuss officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Tucker died Sat., July 19, 2008, at his residence. He was born July 25, 1930, in Morgan County to Clarence Tucker and Ruby Ethel Robbins Tucker.
He was a carpenter, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Son Rise Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Tucker of Hartselle; a son, Darren Tucker of Somerville; two daughters, Kathy Hines of Hartselle and Christy Brooks of Moulton; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were John Hines, Eric Brooks, Bo Brooks, Bailey Brooks, Josh Langford, Marcus Hamby, Todd Bennett and Vincent Fuller.
Honorary pallbearers were Al Siverling, Bob White, Paul Adkins, Rev. Doug Raburn, Brandon Miller, Neal Reeves, Bud Cole and Ennis Waits.
