Hines, Langford to wed
John and Kathy Hines of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Johnna Megan Hines, to Joshua Christian Langford, son of Chris and Melaina Langford of Rogersville.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Leonard and Martha Tucker of Hartselle and the late Delores Zimmerman of Hartselle and the late Clyde Hines of Michigan. She attends the University of Alabama in Huntsville where she is majoring in nursing. She is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and Up Til Dawn.
The future groom is the grandson of Vince and Sue Langford and Dorothy McKee.
He is a student at the University of Alabama in Huntsville where he is studying for a career in computer engineering. He is president of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity and a member of Up Til Dawn.
The couple plans to be married Aug. 9, 2008, at Huntsville First United Methodist Church.
Brown, Pearson to wed
Douglas and Kim Brown of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Brown of Hartselle, to Cody Blake Pearson, son of Dewayne and Judy Pearson of Vinemont.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Dale and Margaret Brown of Green Ridge, Mo., and Ronald and Shirley Berry of Green Ridge, Mo.
A 2004 graduate of Hartselle High School, she received her sports medicine degree from Wallace State Community College in 2007.
The future groom is the grandson of Barbara Gay of Vinemont and the late Herbert Gay and Velda Mae Pearson of Vinemont and the late Thomas Milton Pearson. A 2003 graduate of Vinemont High School, he is a 2008 graduate of Wallace State Community College with a degree in business management.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 9, 2008, at Flint Creek Baptist Church in Vinemont.
Murphy, Henderson to wed
Pewee and Debi Murphy of Falkville announce the engagement of their daughter, Bridgette Murphy to Jason Henderson, son of Paul and Anna Henderson of Falkville.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Loyd and Bobbie Childers of Falkville and the late Fred and Charley Murphy of Falkville. She is a graduate of Falkville High School and is employed at Encore Rehabilitation.
The groom-to-be is the grandson of Sim and Clara Howell of Falkville and Jim and Iris Henderson and the late Mattie Henderson of Hartselle. He is a graduate of Falkville High School and is employed at Encore Rehabilitation. The wedding will be Sept. 6, 2008, at Quail Creek Golf Resort.
