Funeral for Viola Kathlene England, 88, of Lawrenceville, Ga., formerly of Hartselle, was Monday, July 14, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Phillip Hines officiating.
Burial was in Herring Cemetery.
Mrs. England died Saturday, July 12, 2008, at her residence, She was born July 19, 1919, in Morgan County to Jesse Ernest Riddle and Viola Clark Riddle. While residing in Hartselle she was a member and attended Hartselle Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. P. “Buck” England, two brothers, Harry Riddle and Robert Riddle and a sister, Mary Miller.
She is survived by a son, David England of Scottsboro; a daughter, Diane White of Lawrenceville, Ga.; a brother, Ernest Riddle of Decatur; a sister, Sarah Dotson of Lancaster, S.C.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers were Kevin England, Anthony England, Ron Morris, Mark England, Mike Walker and Daniel England.
