Funeral for Shelia Diana Evans Stover, 53, of Hartselle was Friday, May 16, at 1 p.m. at First Independent Church in old Flint with the Rev. Hal Daigre officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Stroup Cemetery in Punkin Center.
Mrs. Stover died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at her residence. She was born April 11, 1955, in Morgan County to Paul Lavene Evans and Sally Irene Marks Evans. She was a member of First Independent Church in old Flint and a member of the Cornerstone Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Wayne Stover of Hartselle; two sons, Craig Wayne Stovcr and wife Monica and Brent Heath Stover and wife Lytha, all of Danville; a daughter, Brooke Stover McIntire and husband Phillip of Hartselle; three brothers, Gary Evans and wife Donna of Somerville and Stevie Evans and wife Rita and Larry Evans, all of Danville; three sisters, Paulette Henderson and husband Duffy and Jan Downs and husband Stephen, all of Hartselle and Marilyn Melson and husband Jeff of Danville; six grandchildren, Allison Stover, Erin Stover Ryan Stover, Katy Stover, Justin Melvin and Nate McIntire; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Chris Downs, Jeremy Henderson, Jamie Henderson, Josh Melson, Jeffrey Melson, Kin Evans and Jessie Key.
Honorary pallbearers were Ryan Stover and Justin Melvin.
Memorial may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or American Heart Association.
