A memorial service for Mary Ann Pitts, 62, of Hartselle was Sunday, May 4, at 2 p.m. at Faith Chapel Praise Center.
Mrs. Pitts died Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born April 3, 1946, in Tallapoosa to Edward and Mary Pitts.
She was a member of Faith Chapel Praise Center and president of the ladies ministry. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Cecil Pitts.
She is survived by a son, Richard Primm and wife Rachel of San Antonio, Tex.; a daughter, Bethany Benefield and husband Martin of Columbia, Tenn.; her mother, Mary Pitts of Columbia, Tenn.; two brothers, Kenneth Pitts and wife Ressa and Ronnie Pitts and wife Tammy, all of Columbia, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
