Troop 333 working for Bronze honor

By Staff
Junior Girl Scout Troop 333 of Hartselle, is currently working on its Bronze Award. This award is the highest level award a Junior Girl Scout can earn. For its project, they have chosen to make “Emergency, Non-Perishable Food Bags” and collect pet food for Meals-on-Wheels. This program provides a nutritious meal and a brief wellness check each weekday for eligible home-bound elderly and/or handicapped adults in Morgan County. However, situations occur, such as inclement weather, and meals cannot be delivered. These bags will provide a meal for a home-bound individual that they might not have otherwise. Anyone willing to donate items, such as, canned meats (tuna, chicken, vienna sausages, etc.), pudding/fruit cups, granola/cereal bars, crackers, hard candy, juice boxes, or pet food can contact Dawn Zanda, Troop Leader, at 256-751-4552.
There are 12 girls in the troop: Madeline Zanda, Rena Walker, Deanna Helms, McKenzie Burnett, Elizabeth Beach, Kali Johnson, Mallarie Anderson, Carlee Motes, Emily Motes, DeAnna Morris, Nikki Kirby and Hannah Farley.
