Funeral for Mae Childers, 69, of Eva was Tuesday, Apr. 15, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Andy Coffey officiating.
Burial was in Lawrence Cove Cemetery.
Mrs. Childers died Saturday, Apr. 12, 2008, at Carraway Methodist Medical Center. She was born Oct. 9, 1938, in Cullman County to Frank Reaid and Glendora Leathers Reaid. She was a member of the Eva Art Guild and attended First Assembly of God in Cullman. She was preceded in death by her husband, O. Q. Childers.She is survived by two sons, David Childers of Decatur and Jr. Heaton of Oden Ridge; a sister, Shelby Parrish of Cullman; and three grandchildren, Carson Childers and Kadyn Childers and Adam Heaton.
Pallbearers were Randy Schnittker, Leemon George, Richard George, Jeremy George, Jason Tindal and George Rutherford.
