A graveside service for Paul Timothy Gow, 56, of Decatur will be Thursday (today), Feb. 28, at 3:30 p.m. at Bell Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Franklin D. Turney officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be from 1 until 3 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
Mr. Gow died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at his residence. He was born Nov. 15, 1951, in Sylacauga to Rev. Ira Clay Gow and Margaret Pauline Carver Gow. He was a lifetime Methodist and was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Betty L. Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Diane Gow of Decatur; a brother, William C. Gow and wife Robynne of Arlington, Tex.; a sister, Jo Ella McCutcheon and husband James of Decatur; father-in-law, G. D. Bennefield and wife Lavada of Ryan; brother-in-law, Rick Bennefield and wife Terry of Hartselle; a niece, Leslie Templeton and husband Phillip of Decatur; four nephews, David McCutcheon and wife Susan Thomas, Kris Bennefield and wife Melissa, Carver Gow and Clay Gow, all of Decatur; two great-nephews, Ira Caleb Templeton and Austin Templeton of Arlington, Tex.
Pallbearers will be Mike Smallwood, Mike Shaffer, Glenn Holmes, Shane Buckelew, Charles Robinson and Frank Thurman.
