Brown, Wood to wed
Bobby and Melva Brown of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Allen Brown, to Jeremy Craig Wood, son of Carol Graham of Hartselle and Mike Wood of Hartselle.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Billy and Sis McCaghren of Hartselle, Ray Brown of Hartselle and the late Helen Pitts of Hartselle.
A 2003 graduate of Hartselle High School and a 2007 graduate of Wallace State, she is employed with Redstone Arsenal.
The future groom is the grandson of Kathleen Wood of Hartselle and the late Odis Wood, Betty Graham of Eva and the late Othel Graham.
He attended Hartselle High School and is employed by Mechanical Solutions Inc.
The wedding is planned for April 26, 2008, at Rhodes Ferry Park in Decatur.
Stephenson, Kimbrell to wed
Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Thomas Stephenson of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Susan Lee Stephenson, to Nathan Daniel Kimbrell of Somerville, son of Elizabeth Kimbrell.
The future bride is the granddaughter of the late John Lee Stephenson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Emerson Logan. A graduate of Hartselle High School, she received her business management degree from Athens State University. She is employed with Family Security Credit Union.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Lewis Chunn. A graduate of Brewer High School, he served in the US Navy in 1998.
He is currently attending Calhoun Community College to pursue a degree in secondary education. He is employed with Brown Recycling and is youth minister at Bellview Baptist Church in Decatur.
The wedding is planned for April 19 at First Christian Church in Hartselle.
