A memorial service for Greg Hanes, 54, of Falkville will be Saturday, Feb. 2, at 12 noon at the family residence.
Peck Funeral Home assisted the family.
Mr. Hanes died Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, at his residence
. He was born March 10, 1953, to James Hanes and Frankie Stricklin Hanes. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and a volunteer firefighter for Oak Ridge Volunteer Fire Department and Hartselle Fire Department. He was preceded in death by a sister, Nanci Puckett.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Hanes of Falkville and a brother, Jim Hanes of Hartselle.
The family requests no flowers.
