Funeral for Brandon Pope, 31, of Hartselle was Friday, Aug. 31, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Hal Dalgre, Jim Rains and Dennis Shaddix officiating.
Burial was in Corinth Cemetery in Cullman County.
Mr. Pope died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007, at Huntsville Hospital. He was a member of the Independent Methodist Church in Decatur and a conductor for CSX Railroad. He was preceded in death by a brother, Tyrone Pope and grandparents, Melvin and Lillie Pope and Audrie and Hazel Maze.
He is survived by two sons, David Brandon Pope and Robert Magurie Pope, both of Hartselle; his parents, Billy and Judy Pope of Hartselle; a brother, Neal Pope and wife Tammy of Hartselle; two nieces; a nephew; a great-niece; and two great-nephews. CSX co-workers and friends and family members were pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers were Jason Buckelew and Jim Rombokas.
