The gridiron Tigers aren't the only ones who have been hard at work this summer preparing for the upcoming fall season.
The Hartselle High School varsity cheerleaders recently competed at the UCA Cheer Camp in Panama City, Fla. They won first place in both the dance and cheer competitions as well as the prestigious Leadership Award. Junior Audrey McClanahan won the Jump Competition for the entire camp and seniors Candice Patterson, Taylor Cain, Kelsey Jenson and Anna Reeves were selected as UCA All-Star Cheerleaders.
Tiger mascot Hugheston Slate won the Camp Champ Mascot Award as well as the All-Star Mascot Award.
