Funeral for Mitchell Farris Robinson, 84, of Hartselle was Wednesday, Aug. 15, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Donald Dugger and Danny Garrison officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mr. Robinson died Monday, August 13, 2007, at his residence. He was born April 14, 1923, in Limestone County to John Henry Robinson and Missiour Lee Reed Robinson.
He was a Baptist and a former employee of the Civilian Conservation Corps.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Robinson of Hartselle; a son, James Farris Robinson of Hartselle; two daughters, Peggy Jackson of Hartselle and Ann King of Arab; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bobby Denson, Tyler New, Loyd Robinson, Frank Robinson Jr., Kenneth Morgan and Andy Moran. A special thanks to AseraCare Hospice caregivers and all the staff of Home Health Care for their loving care of Mr. Robinson during his illness.
