Martha Jean Linderman Jones

Funeral for Martha Jean Linderman Jones of Falkville was Monday, Aug. 13, at 5 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel. Her grandsons Enoch Jones, Franklin Jones and James Arthur Jones spoke at the service.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007. She was retired from Prestolite.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ulan "Shorty" Linderman, her mother, Odelia McDonald Linderman, and two brothers, Charles "Buddy" Linderman and Donald Linderman.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, A.W. Jones; a son, Mike McLemore and wife Christina of Eva; a daughter, Pat McLemore Gatlin and husband Larry of Falkville; two stepsons, Don Jones and wife Lucretia of Falkville and Rick Jones of Canton, Ohio; a brother, Cecil Linderman and wife Ann of Danville; a sister, Adell Linderman Harnel and husband Willie of Danville; three sisters,-in-law, Dorothy Banks Linderman of Danville, Coriene Hensley of Hartselle, and Ann Spivey and husband Earnie of Decatur; a brother-in-law, Houston Jones and wife Myrtis of Moulton; 21 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
Pallbearers were Shane McLemore, Will Copeland, Seth Copeland, Sawyer McLemore, Scott Gatlin and Franklin Jones.
Honorary pallbearers were Tyler Gatlin and Benson Jones.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley and the American Kidney Foundation.
