Funeral for Bernice Taylor, 82, of Falkville was Monday, Aug. 13, at 7:30 p.m. at Fairview Church of God with the Rev. Milan Dekich officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial followed in Kirk Cemetery in Bonnie, Ill.
Mrs. Taylor died Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, at her residence. She was born August 14, 1924, in Bonnie, Ill. to Troy Adams and Nell Kirk Adams. She was a homemaker, a member of Fairview Church of God, the Caleb Club and Sunshine Ladies Choir.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Chester A. Taylor.
She is survived by a son, Aaron Taylor of Glenn Poole, Okla.; four daughters, Janet Bishop of Orleans, Ind., Joy Sloan of Streator, Ill., Brenda Smith of Akron, Ohio and Betty Schaefers of Remlap; two brothers, Harry Adams and Wesley Adams, both of Bonnie, Ill.; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
