Funeral for Corine Hampton Kirby, 68, of Danville was Friday, Aug. 3, at 11 a.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Salter officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Kirby died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007, at her residence. She was born Oct. 4, 1938, in Winston County to Elbert Bracken Hampton and Moline Smith Hampton.
She is survived by her husband, Malcolm Kirby of Danville; a son, Malcolm Kirby Jr. and wife Brenda of Hartselle; a daughter, Maxine Kirby Borden and husband Dan of Danville; two brothers, Elbert Hampton and Jerry Hampton; three sisters, Lola Dean Lowery, Linda Campbell and Martha Jane Witherspoon; five grandchildren, Amy Borden White, Brian Borden, Kelly Borden, Matt Borden and Steven Kirby; and two great-grandchildren, Alex Kirby and Addison Borden.
Pallbearers were Steven Lynn Kirby, Brian Borden, Andy White, Sherman Kirby, Terry Standridge and Chris Witherspoon.
