Funeral for Ronald O. Cox, 68, of Hartselle was Tuesday, July 31, at 1 p.m. at Brown Service West Funeral Home Chapel in Hueytown with the Rev. Harold Thompson officiating. Burial was in Highland Memorial Gardens in Bessemer. Peck Funeral Home handled local arrangements.
Mr. Cox died Friday, July 27, 2007, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born December 9, 1938, in Morgan County to Leamon Cox and Laverne Breedlove Cox. He was a retired Greyhound bus driver and was also retired from Emerson Electric in Hartselle.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Cox of Hartselle; two daughters, Sue Cox Bunnell of Trussville and Rhonda Randolph of Branson, Mo.; five brothers, Jimmy M. Cox and Joe G. Cox, both of Livingston, and Tony A. Cox, John L. Cox and Danny L. Cox, all of Hueytown; and four grandchildren, Steven and Jonathan Bunnell and Faith and Nathaniel Randolph.
