Funeral for Mary Alice Tucker Summerford, 93, of Falkville was Saturday, July 28, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Weldon officiating.
Burial was in Falkville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Summerford died Thursday, July 26, 2007, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born Dec. 23, 1913, in Morgan County to William Terrence Tucker and Sallie Mae Fitzgerald Tucker. She was a member of Falkville United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. (Boots) Summerford.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Summerford and wife Dot of Madison and Phillip Summerford of Falkville; a grandson, Chip Summerford and wife Sherry; two great-granddaughters, Leigha and Nina Summerford; and a sister, Pansy Tucker Fox of Erie, Penn.
Pallbearers were James E. Nelson, J.J. Summerford, Mal Patterson, Bobby Anders, Jack Summerford and Ed Monroe.
Donations may be made to Falkville United Methodist Church Building Fund.
