Funeral for Lorene Curbow Bentley, 83, of Moulton was Friday, July 13, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Shane Lewis officiating.
Burial was in New Friendship Cemetery in Somerville.
Mrs. Bentley died Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at her residence. She was born July 21, 1923, in Morgan County to Daniel Winfield Curbow and Annie Mae Mote Curbow. She was a Southern Baptist.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, PFC David Glenn Pannell.
She is survived by three daughters, Dean Bentley of Somerville; Hazel Kine and husband Penny of Moulton and Vera Reed of Huntsville; two sisters, Mary Drake of Hartselle and Faye Gibson of Trinity; four grandchildren, Glenda Rea and husband Michael, Daniel Pannell and wife Laura, Tiffany Daugherty and husband Jon and PFC James Martin Reed; and five great-grandchildren, Andrew Kermish, Alyssa Daughterty, Devin Daugherty, Wesley Pannell and Jackson Pannell.
Pallbearers were PFC James Martin Reed, Daniel Pannell, Michael Rea, John Daugherty, Steven Gibson and Michael Gibson.
