A graveside service for Wilma L. Sparkman, 92, of Hartselle was Sunday, July 1, at 4 p.m. at Forrest Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Estes Hardin officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Miss Sparkman died Friday, June 29, 2007, at Summerford Nursing Home in Falkville. She was born June 4, 1915, in Morgan County to Sidney J. Sparkman and Elizabeth "Vinnie" Sybert Sparkman. She was a Goodyear Mills retiree and a member of Forest Chapel United Methodist Church.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Stanley Sparkman, Rassie Wallace, Danny McCluskey, Marvin Tucker, Brandon Sparkman and Donald Bullard.
