Funeral for Joe Wayne Clemons, 64, of Falkville was Saturday, May 12, at 10 a.m. at Decatur First Holy Church of Christ with Bro. Charles Williams officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Mr. Clemons died Thursday, May 10, 2007, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born July 22, 1942, in Morgan County to Melvin Clemons and Mary Inez Sutton Clemons. He was a member of Decatur First Holy Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Gene Clemons and Bill Clemons and a sister, Wilma Thrasher.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Clemons of Falkville; three sons, Keith Clemons of Caddo, Michael Joe Clemons of Decatur and Jonathan Clemons of Hartselle; three daughters, Laura Clemons Jones of Hartselle, Amy Doss of Prospect, Tenn. and Anita Raney of Decatur; a brother, Jimmy Clemons of Athens; a sister, Betty Duncan of Blanche, Tenn.; and 13 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Billy Doss, Ty Walker, Jeremy Johnson, Don Garrison, Anthony Hamm and Chris Hensley.
