A graveside service for William Lamar Cushing, 66, of Hartselle will be Thursday, April 12, at 2 p.m. at Forrest Cemetery in Gadsden with the Revs. Scotty Hogan and James Chitwood officiating and Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Cushing died Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. He was a member of Westmeade Baptist Church in Decatur.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Driskell Cushing of Hartselle; a son, Chuck Cushing and wife Angie of Decatur; a daughter, Suzie Cushing Hackett and husband Nick of Hartselle; four grandchildren, Charlie, Maggie, Amanda and Jack.
Pallbearers will be Boone Tilley, David Wheeler, Lee Wheeler and Jimmy Sauls.
Memorials may be made to the Westmeade Baptist Church Building Fund.
