Funeral for Lillian Josephine Kelley, 86, of Falkville was Tuesday, March 27, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in New Friendship Cemetery.
Mrs. Kelley died Sunday, March 25, 2007, at her residence. She was born Sept. 23, 1920, in Lawrence County to James House Hawkins and Etta Shelton Hawkins. She worked as a waitress at All Steak and later retired from Bentley’s Restaurant. She operated an arts and crafts booth at Trade Day for 29 years. She was of the Baptist faith. Her daughter, Margaret Murphy, preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons, Hershal Murphy of Somerville, Roger Murphy of Russellville and Doyle Hagood of Crestview, Fla.; three daughters, Shirley Adams of Little Rock, Ark., Syble Rae Parks of Arab and Selina Jo Nelson of Falkville; a brother, James Houston Hawkins of Moulton; a sister, Carrie Terry of Moulton; 15 grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Robert Murphy, Alvin Murphy, Brian Nelson, Bill Hagood, Tom Parks and Frank Smith.
