On Friday, March 2, 2007, A Spring Metamorphosis will take place at Decatur Country Club, 2401 Country Club Road, March 2 as Women’s Connection will enjoy a spring fashion show by Maison Morgan. Carol Shreve of Fayetteville, Tenn., who has been an aerospace engineer, will speak about her metamorphosis from Caterpillar to Butterfly. Make reservations for lunch. Emmanuel Church International will host a women’s conference March 2 at 6 p.m. and March 3 at 9 a.m. Speaker will be Amanda Goodson of Tucson, Arizona. She is a native of Decatur.
The Pentecostal Assembly of Believers Inc. of the Apostolic Faith and Bishop Carl E. Holland, presiding bishop, invite everyone to their Mid Winter Convention March 7-9 at the Greater Jubilee House of Prayer in Decatur.
The Women of Strength Conference will begin March 1 at 7 p.m. at New Life Missionary Baptist Church in Athens with Rev. Antoyne Green and Felicia Green speakers. A community choir will also be performing. On March 2 at 7 p.m., Angela Beard of Jackson, Tenn. will be speaking and New Life Dance team will perform.
