Clemons, Davis to wed
Dick and Laura Clemons of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashton Whitney Clemons, to James Robert Davis, son of Joe and Mary Davis of Danville.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Malcolm and Juanita Crowder of Chickamauga, Ga. and Robert and Virginia Clemons of Hartselle.
A 2005 graduate of Hartselle High School, she is attending Wallace State Community College and will graduate in December with an associate’s degree in sonography. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and the Sonography Club at Wallace State.
The future groom is the grandson of Joyce Davis of Danville and the late Milton Davis of Somerville, Paul and Helen Stuller of Martinsville, Ind. and Ray and Marlene Littleton of Indianapolis, Ind. A 2002 graduate of Danville High School, he attended Wallace State Community College and graduated with an associate’s degree in science. He now attends Athens State University and will graduate in May with a bachelor’s degree in public safety.
The wedding is planned for March 3, 2007 at Hartselle First Baptist Church.
A reception at Quail Creek Golf Resort will follow the ceremony.
Fleming, Marsch to wed
Mr. and Mrs. Keith Fleming of Owensboro, Ky. announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Michelle Fleming, to Michael John Marsch, son of Dr. and Mrs. Walter Marsch of Philpot, Ky.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Fleming of Owensboro, Ky. She is a graduate of Daviess County High School and the University of Kentucky, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. She will be attending UK’s medical school in the fall.
The future groom is the grandson of Margaret Hanners and the great-grandson of Virgie Powell of Hartselle. A graduate of Daviess County High School, he earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Transylvania University in Lexington, Ky. He is attending the UK School of Law and will graduate in May.
The wedding is planned for March 10, 2007 at 6 p.m. at Good Shepherd Church.
