Dickerson, Flowers exchange vows
Linsey Blair Dickerson of Decatur and William David Flowers of Decatur were wed Nov. 3, 2006, at 4 p.m. at the Old State Bank in Decatur. Rev. WG Henry officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Earl and Marty Dickerson of Hartselle. The groom is the son of Carl and Melissa Flowers of Hartselle.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.
The bride wore a strapless designer gown of embroidered lace with a fitted bodice, accented with pearls and crystal beading that fell into a chapel train.
Her hairstyle was designed by John Daniel.
She carried a hand tied bouquet of red lilies.
Maid of honor was Leigh Jones, sister of the bride, of Hartselle.
Bridesmaids were Stephanie Moore of Decatur and Michelle Flowers, sister of the groom, of Hartselle.
Blair Jones, niece of the bride, of Hartselle and Calli Partlow, niece of the bride, were flower girls.
Joey Hardy of Hartselle was best man.
Groomsmen were Dustin Grandchamp of Hartselle and Jeremy Fields of Falkville.
Music was provided by David Gilbert and Blake Pierce, both of Hartselle.
The reception was held at Burningtree Country Club of Decatur.
Leslie Braswell was wedding director. Chance Partlow and Tyler Anders, both of Hartselle, attended the bride’s book.
The couple enjoyed a Caribbean cruise for their honeymoon.
They now reside in Decatur.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Simp McGhee’s in Decatur by the groom’s parents.
The couple was honored with several pre-nuptial events including:
Ferguson, Huddleston wed
Mary Anne Ferguson of Falkville and Patrick James Huddleston of LaFayette were wed Dec. 28, 2006 at a private ceremony in Auburn.
The bride is the daughter of Mary E. Ferguson, formerly of Falkville, and the late James B. Ferguson.
The groom is the son of Rod and Carol Huddleston of LaFayette.
The couple now resides in Auburn.
Canafax, Hodges to wed
Jeffrey and Elizabeth Canafax of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Lynn Canafax of Birmigham, to Benjamin David Hodges of Birmingham, son of Mark and Robin Hodges of Madison.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Ray and Ann Canafax of Raleigh, N.C. and the late William and Jean McKenzie of Louisville, Ky. A 2001 graduate of Hartselle High School with an advanced diploma, she received her bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2005 from Auburn University. She is a member of the Young CPA’s Society.
The future groom is the grandson of Rev. Edwin and Edith Hodges of Decatur and William and Mary Dean Wiley of Danville.
A 1999 graduate of Hartselle High School with an advanced diploma, he graduated from The University of Alabama in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He currently attends Cumberland School of Law.
He is a member of the National Trial Team and Trial Board.
The wedding is planned for June 9 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Tuttle, Prince to wed
Vern and Carol Tuttle of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Angela Marie Tuttle of Hartselle, to Larry Curtis Prince Jr. of Boiling Springs, S.C.
The wedding is planned for March 24 in Greenville, S.C.
The future bride is a special education high school teacher and is a graduate of Pensacola Christian College and the master’s program at Bob Jones University.
The future groom is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and is lead computer programmer for Denny’s Corporate Office in Spartenburg, S.C.
After a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple will live in Boiling Springs, S.C.
