Joseph ‘Joe’ Henry Asherbranner

Funeral for Joseph “Joe” Henry Asherbranner, 41, of Falkville was Wednesday, Jan. 24, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Thomas Elder officiating.
Burial was in Moss Chapel Cemetery in Hartselle.
Mr. Asherbranner died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007, at the residence of his parents in Hartselle. He was born on January 6, 1966 in Lawrence County to James Floyd Asherbranner and Patsy Anne Locke Bates. He was employed at Vest Coal Co. in Hartselle as a small engine repairman. He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Anne and James Bates of Hartselle; two brothers, James H. Asherbranner and wife Mildred of Hartselle and John Asherbranner and wife Lori of Falkville; three sisters, Peggy Bowen and husband Richard and Lisa Light and husband Terry, all of Falkville, and Barbara Bates of Hartselle; and five nieces and nephews.
Friends and family members were pallbearers.
