Funeral for Frank Roger Cheatham, 59, of Hartselle will be Friday, Dec. 8, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ron Wilson and Jeff Redmond officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur.
Visitation will be Thursday (today), Dec. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Cheatham died Monday, Dec. 4, 2006, at his residence. He was born June 1, 1947, in Lawrence County to James Frank Cheatham and Ruby Mae Cheatham. He loved the Lord and his family. His faith never faltered in his five years of struggle with cancer. His laughter and smiles will always be remembered. He was an inspiration to everyone he met. His physical body is gone from us, but his spirit will always be with us. He is truly rejoicing in the Lord now. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Lynne Cheatham.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Sivley Cheatham of Hartselle; a son, John Thomas Cheatham of Hartselle; two daughters, Sherri DeAnn Finn and Wendy Michelle Letson, both of Hartselle; his mother, Ruby Mae Cheatham of Hartselle; two brothers, Howell Cheatham of Falkville and Hoyt Cheatham of Decatur; a sister, Faye Waugh of Hartselle; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Steve Cheatham, Jason Parham, Jerry Waugh, Steve Jones, Doyle Landers and Frank Ellis.
