Funeral for Myrtle Lee Williams, 72, of Falkville was Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Piney Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Williams died Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Nov. 24, 1934, in Cullman County to William Wesley Fortenberry and Hassie Mitchell Fortenberry. She was a good housewife, loved people, great mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, James Gurnie Williams of Vinemont; a daughter, Patsy Louise Barber and husband Tommy of Vinemont; a brother, Hershall Fortenberry and wife Faye; a sister, Mary Martin and husband, C.B. of Hartselle; a grandson, Christopher James Barber and wife Nellie; and a great-granddaughter, Tasha Anne Barber.
Pallbearers were Christopher James Barber, Doug Bateman, Michael Corley, Daryl Taylor and Todd Whatley.
