Funeral for Katherine Faye Dempsey, 71, of Somerville was Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Harold Fowler officiating.
Burial was in Shiloh Cemetery.
Mrs. Dempsey died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, at her residence. She was born January 24, 1935, in Cullman County to Robert Allred and Martha Brown Allred. She was preceded in death by her husband, James (Pate) Dempsey.
She is survived by a son, Jesse Dempsey of Somerville; two daughters, Artie East and Deborah Stewart, both of Somerville; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Kirk Brown, Billy Wayne Stewart, Joe Stewart, Carl Davis, Tim Davis and Orbin Dempsey.
