Funeral for Elizabeth Marie Hardy, 71, of Hartselle was Thursday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church in Decatur with the Revs. Randy Davis and Jimmy Flynn officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Hardy died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born June 8, 1935, in Morgan County to Clifford Kilgore and Mary Elizabeth Carpenter Kilgore. She was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Allen Hardy.
She is survived by her husband, Horace Hardy of Hartselle; three sons, Charles Edward Hardy and wife Susie of Toney. Terry Wayne Hardy of Decatur and Kenneth Eugene Hardy and wife Marie of Huntsville; two daughters, Marie Antoinette Austin and husband Don of Decatur and Linda Diane Tate and husband Jerry of Arab; two brothers, Harold Kilgore and Jimmy Carl Kilgore, both of Michigan; a sister, Shirley Kilgore Koris of Virginia; 19 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
