Funeral for Acie Franklin DeFoe, 65, of Hartselle was Monday, Aug. 14, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Charles Sparks and Milton Garrison officiating.
Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. DeFoe died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Jan. 1, 1941, in Morgan County to Acie Howard DeFoe and Martha Collins DeFoe. He was retired from Amoco Chemical Company and was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Dean DeFoe.
He is survived by two brothers, James Harrell DeFoe of Battleground and Tommy DeFoe of Hartselle; four sisters, Mary Sue Clemons of Decatur, Betty DeFoe Warren of Trinity, Nancy DeFoe Walker of Hartselle and Sandra DeFoe Morgan of Cullman; longtime friend and caregiver, Lydia Tyler of Hartselle; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Bobby Walker, Ray Warren, Brandon Morgan, Jeff DeFoe, Ronnie Clemons and Christopher DeFoe.
