Funeral for George Ferrell, 72, of Hartselle was Wednesday, May 3, at 2 p.m. at New Center Baptist Church with Bro. Harold Brown officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in New Center Cemetery.
Mr. Ferrell died Sunday, April 30, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born May 26, 1933, in Lawrenceburg, Tenn., to George Warner Ferrell Sr. and Madgie Shelton Ferrell. He was a member of New Center Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Ferrell of Hartselle; two sons, Jamey Ferrell of Florence and Jerry Ferrell of Hartselle; two daughters, Jane Knight and Judy Tidwell, both of Hartselle; five sisters; 13 grandchildren, Cliff Ferrell, Jason Ferrell, Lucas Ferrell, Carmen Ferrell, Heather Johnson, Adam Johnson, Zac Ferrell, Corey Ferrell, Brittney Shelton, Emily Shelton, Tiffany Hawks, Patrick Knight and McKenzie Tidwell; and two great-grandchildren, Abby Ferrell and Charlsie Ferrell.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
