Terrace joins in arthritis walk events

By Staff
The first Arthritis Walk at The Terrace in Priceville will be held May 6 at 9 a.m.
The Arthritis Walk is the Arthritis Foundation event that takes place in communities nationwide to raise awareness to fight arthritis. The event kicks off each May during National Arthritis Month.
During the Arthritis Walk, people affected by arthritis, young and old, are identified by a blue “hero” cap. These heroes are invited to lead off the walk, illustrating the many faces of arthritis and its impact on our population.
Each Arthritis Walk also showcases a Wall of Heroes where participants write inspiring messages to encourage those affected by the disease.
The first Arthritis Walk at The Terrace in Priceville will coincide with the Huntsville Arthritis Walk.
The Terrace is located at 200 Terrace Lane. For more information or to register, contact Joyce Wheeler at 260-0400.
