Funeral for Blanch Smallwood, 85, of Falkville was Wednesday, April 12, at 1 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home with the Rev. Ted Vafeas officiating.
Burial was in Liberty Methodist Church Cemetery in Moulton.
Mrs. Smallwood, died Monday, April 10, 2006, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born Dec. 26, 1920, in Lawrence County to Joseph Jasper Hollis and Molly M. Reeves Hollis. She attended the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Hollis and G. W. Hollis and a sister, Pauline McDonald.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Smallwood of Hartselle and Scotty Smallwood of West Point; three daughters, Maxine Martin and Pat Lindsey Jones, both of Decatur and Becky Stringer of Hartselle; a brother, Wayne Hollis; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
