Funeral for Linda Faye Sivley Ricks, 60, of Hartselle was Sunday, March 5, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Reid officiating.
Burial was in Center Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Ricks died Friday, March 3, 2006, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born July 14, 1945, in Morgan County to Osborne Golden Sivley and Ruth Ernestine Blaylock Sivley. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Falkville She was also a member of the DAV Auxiliary, American Legion Post 15 and DAV Chapter 11.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Ricks of Hartselle; three sons, Danny Ricks and wife Terry and Randall Ricks and wife Angela, all of Hartselle and Greg Ricks and wife Marti of Falkville; a daughter, Lisa Melson and husband Dewey of Hartselle; three brothers, William Sivley of Clinton Township, Mich., Edward Sivley of Falkville and Johnny Sivley of Hartselle; four sisters, Mary Sanders of Ft. Worth, Tex., Bobbie Anderson of Tanner, Doris Abernathy of Morris and Jean Finley of Decatur; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tim Willingham, Matt Ricks, Jeremy Ricks, Heath Miller, Zachery Norton, Josh Ricks, Tim Wood, Jake Sellers, Mike Lawrence and Wayne Lawrence.
