Funeral for Judy Marie Martens, 63, of Decatur will be Thursday, March 9, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Cameron Douglas and Rev. Carol Hallman officiating.
Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Martens died Tuesday, March 7, 2005, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Jan. 29, 1943, to Andrew Jackson Wood and Bulah Wood. She was a member of First Christian Church of Decatur.
She is survived by her husband, Clifford Martens of Decatur; a son, Jeff Martens of Addison; two daughters, Janet Porter of Arkansas and Jenny Free of Falkville; two brothers, Alan Wood of Cullman County and Jerry Wood of Cleveland, Tenn.; two sisters, Joy Light of Falkville and Edith Powell of Addison; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mitchell Wood, Daniel Thompson, Christopher Martens, Aaron Wood, Greg James and Nicholas Wood.
Honorary pallbearers will be elders of First Christian Church of Decatur.
