Funeral for Rose Baker Puckett, 67, of Cullman was Saturday, Feb. 18, at 2 p.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Cullman with the Rev. Kent Persall officiating.
Burial was in Bethsadia Cemetery in Cullman County.
Mrs. Puckett died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born March 31, 1938, in Morgan County to Aro P. Baker and Grace Hopper Baker. She was a nurse. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Dale Porter; a grandson, Nathon Porter; and a brother, Lane Baker.
She is survived by her husband, retired Col. Donald L. Puckett of Cullman; a son, Bobby Porter of Cullman; a daughter, Tammy Aragon and husband Eli of Cullman; three brothers, Eugene Baker and wife JoAnn of Guntersville, Ross Baker of Huntsville and Arlon Baker of Leesburg, Fla.; three sisters, Averine Nix and husband Roland of Decatur, Temple Aycock and husband Charles of Cullman and Vonda Richardson and husband Owen of Decatur; two grandchildren, Brent Porter of Palmetto, Ga. and Dale Aragon of Cullman; and a host of nieces and nephews.
