Funeral for Ruth C. Blevins, 89, of Hartselle was Monday, Jan. 30, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Goodall officiating.
Burial was in Aldridge Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Blevins died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born Nov. 21, 1916, in Lawrence County to Robert Frank Cheatham and Willie Maggie Hames Cheatham. She was a member of Westview Church of Christ.
She is survived by a son, Randall Gene Blevins and wife Shirlee of Decatur; two daughters, Patsy Hopson of Hartselle and Jane B. Daniels and husband Ralph of Huntsville; a brother, Robert Cheatham and wife Janie of Decatur; and a sister, Christine Odell of Decatur.
