Hames, Stephenson exchange vows
Hannah JoBeth Hames and Timothy Lloyd Stephenson, both of Hartselle, were wed Dec. 31, 2005, at the Wedding Chapel on the Mountain in Huntsville with the Rev. Paul Levick officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Billy and Regina Hames of Hartselle. The groom is the son of Kenneth and Gai Laymon of Danville and the late Mike Stephenson.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory satin gown with a redingote over a princess line bodice embellished with crystal beading and embroidery. It featured a semi-cathedral length train. Her two-tiered veil, featuring crystal beading and silver trim, was held by a silver headpiece with crystal beading. She carried a bouquet of red roses tied with black ribbon.
Caroline Hames of Hartselle, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.
Bridal attendants were Lucy Berry of Decatur, Melanie Hughes of Florence, and Amanda Harbison of Huntsville.
Ally Stephenson of Somerville, niece of the groom, was flower girl. Ross Smith of Hartselle was ring bearer.
Matt Stephenson of Somerville, brother of the groom, was best man.
Groomsmen were Ron Holmes of Eva, George Sapp of Danville, and David Harbison of Huntsville.
Caleb Weems of Hartselle was reader.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the Magnolia Room.
Michelle Levick was wedding director.
Hannah Smith of Hartselle distributed programs and bubbles.
The couple honeymooned in New York City. They reside in Hartselle.
A rehearsal party hosted by the groom's mother was held at St. Luke United Methodist Church of Decatur.
