Senior Circle planning winter trips

Hartselle Senior Circle, sponsored by Hartselle Medical Center, will host two trips this winter for members. Reservations for both trips are being taken now.

Tunica and the Pink Palace, Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 13 and 14: Members will arrive in Tunica on Monday, Feb. 13, at noon to enjoy casinos, shopping and entertainment. On Tuesday, Feb. 14, members will travel to the recently remodeled and expanded Pink Palace Museum and Mansion in Memphis, Tenn. The day will end with a visit to the Imax Theater.
Price per person is $130 for single occupancy and $110 per person for double occupancy. Package includes roundtrip luxury motorcoach transportation, escort services by Cavalier Tours, luggage handling, overnight accommodations at a hotel casino in Tunica, one breakfast buffet or $5 in coins, admission to Pink Palace and Imax.
Carl Hurley's St. Patrick's Day Celebration, March 16: Celebrate pre-St. Patrick's Day in Birmingham with Carl Hurley, "The Little Leprechaun Himself," from County Cork, Ireland (by way of East Bernstadt, Kentucky). Special guest humorist Jeanne Robertson will also be on hand for an afternoon of comedy in the great tradition of Irish storytelling, along with isle music by baritone Jim Rittenhouse. The day will end with a visit to the Birmingham Museum of Art to view the Wedgewood, English, and Japanese/Chinese galleries.
