Funeral for Harry Lee Wilhoite, 77, of Hartselle was Monday, Jan. 9, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Wallace Willingham and David Calhoun officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mr. Wilhoite died Friday, Jan. 6, 2006, at his residence. He was born Sept. 14, 1928, in Madison to Harris Ballinger and Lillie Bell Thompson Ballinger. He attended New Life Assembly Church of God in Moulton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred E. Johnson Wilhoite; one stepson, Lynn Sivley; three brothers, Trigger Wilhoite, George Wilhoite and Bill Wilhoite; two half brothers, Johnnie Ballinger and Hage Wilhoite; and a sister, Lillian Ballinger.
He is survived by two stepsons, Stephen Sivley of Hartselle and Graylon Sivley of Brooksville; a daughter, Shirley Sue Waters of Winterhaven, Fla.; three stepdaughters, Patricia Beavers of Hartselle, Sandra Cannon of Moulton and Brenda Anders of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; a brother, Buck Wilhoite of Somerville; a sister, Eveline Walls of Tennessee; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Sandy Cannon, Jamey Waits, Danny Ray Wilhoite, Shane Wilhoite, James Gore and Corey Cheatham.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
