Funeral for Shelby Robinson Burgess, 52, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 1 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Clark officiating.
Burial was in Salem Cemetery.
Mrs. Burgess died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005, at UAB Hospital. She was born Jan. 29, 1953, in Morgan County to L. C. Robinson and Dorothy Mae Brill Robinson. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Jackie R. Burgess of Hartselle; three sons, Matt Hogan and wife Vicki, of Goodspring, Tenn., and Johnnie Burgess and wife Lawanda and Heath Burgess and wife Susan, all of Hartselle; two daughters, Angie Evans and husband Shane of Hartselle and Wendy Burgess of the Marine Corps, Japan; her father, L. C. Robinson of Hartselle; a brother, Max Robinson and wife Pam of Lacey's Spring; a sister, Beckie Judkins and husband Don of Hartselle; and two grandchildren, Cody Evans and Grayson Burgess.
Pallbearers were Terry Miller, Don Stisher, Kenny Aldridge, Hugh Henry, Brad Cook and Wayne Carpenter.
