Funeral for Jerry W. Coleman, 64, of Falkville was Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 2 p.m. at Falkville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Weldon officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Coleman died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005, at his residence. He was born Aug. 6, 1941, to the late Jack Dempsey Coleman and Virginia Lee Coleman of Pawnee, Okla. He was retired from the U.S. Army/AMCOM, Redstone Arsenal. Mr. Coleman served seven years in the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Norma West Coleman of Falkville; a daughter, Leah Coleman of Falkville; two sons, Caleb Coleman and Sean Coleman, both of Falkville; a sister, Mollie Jo Rogers of Houston, Tex.; a brother, Chris Coleman of Tulsa, Okla.; two nieces, Jackie Bressler of Corpus Christi, Tex. and Katie Coleman of Tulsa, Okla.
Memorials may be made to the Falkville High School basketball program or to Hospice of the Valley.
